Education is not just a privilege, it is a fundamental right for every child. It is an essential building block to life, empowering individuals to envision a brighter future, and providing them with the tools to realize it. It opens up a world of possibilities and opportunities for individuals and equips them with knowledge and learnings to navigate their lives.

In census, a person aged seven years and above who can both read and write in any language is considered literate. India’s literacy rate stands at an average of 74.04%. At lagori, we realize that true education surpasses mere literacy. Education is an all-encompassing field of acquiring knowledge, values, skills, habits, and beliefs. It is the cornerstone for a better future.

Without the proper motivation to learn and support from parents and the community, all other efforts and projects will be futile. All the infrastructure and resources are of no point- Children need to feel supported and empowered by everyone around them and realize the importance of their own education.

Our aim is to elevate the importance of literacy and education and raise awareness through programs that include not only children, but parents, teachers, and administrators alike. All these individuals are key to creating an ecosystem that fosters the acquisition of knowledge and continuous learning.
